The game has changed. The value of maintaining a psychological edge is only apparent to a select group of individuals. Below, I’ll explain how I got here.

HOW I GOT HERE

If you know me, you know I’m not a therapist. I’m not a counselor. I’m not a psychologist…yet (planning on going to school for my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology).

I’m a nerd? A delusional young man who believes it's his life mission to uncover the fundamentals behind optimal human behavior & cognition.

I’ve been passionate about psychology, neuroscience, and performance for as long as I can remember. At around 13-14 years old, I decided to convert my passion into a profession. I committed to learning everything I can about the field.

Captain of the High School Soccer Team my junior & senior year. All-State Soccer. High School Valedictorian. 35 on the ACT (college entrance exam). Oklahoma State Regents Academic Scholar. Graduated OU in 3 years summa cum laude. Awarded a 4.0 medallion (0.02% of students of my graduating class). Bachelor’s in psychology while completing pre-med track with goals to become a psychiatrist.

Then, time stopped…and I realized the truth: success has less to do with academic intelligence, test scores, and degrees than society believes.

Real success comes down to factors such as courage, determination, grit, strategy etc.

Greatness doesn’t have prerequisites of degrees, credentials, and status symbols.

Greatness has prerequisites of character traits, skills, and beliefs. This is the stone-cold truth.

Don’t believe me? Search up the average starting salary for a PhD graduate who spent 5-7 years becoming an expert in a random field (let’s say applied physics and material sciences). Now read Elon Musk’s biography.

What separates the top 0.1% from the rest? Execution.

Knowledge isn’t power. Applied knowledge is power.

Moral of the story: I shifted from independent research in my dorm room to committing to building a media & publishing empire that specialized in applied cognitive/behavioral research & strategy.

Outliers think bold. Outliers act different. Outliers choose to be outliers.

What started as independent research grew to be an insatiable curiosity that led me to a singular moment... do I chase status and conform to the opinions of others, or do I actually make the leap and commit to dominating my field?

In that moment, the vision for GPA Enterprises was formed.

Fast forward to today, and you’re reading this article on OutlierOS.

This private newsletter is designed to build trust, transparency, and credibility with outliers who align with my approach. My hope is that eventually, we can transition from working together through articles to working together 1-on-1 and applying my strategies to your respective field, projects, and organizations.

CONCLUSION

Outliers have been the x-factor throughout history. The small percentage of society who often goes on to disrupt, transform, and redefine entire industries.

Therefore, my firm's central thesis is simple:
